Temporary Careers Advisor

• Location: North London (School-Based)
• Job Type: Part-Time (2/3 days a week until Christmas)
• Salary: £15+ per hour

We are seeking a Temporary Careers Advisor to join our education client, focusing on providing crucial support to Year 11 students. This role is ideal for an organised, proactive professional with a passion for guiding students through their career and education choices.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Work independently with Year 11 students to provide tailored career and education guidance.
• Arrange and conduct meetings with students and members of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Prepare and manage programmes and schedules that students can follow to achieve their career goals.
• Offer expert advice on CV and cover letter writing to enhance students' job and apprenticeship application prospects.
• Assist students in crafting personal statements for various applications.
• Provide insights and guidance on work opportunities that align with students' career aspirations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
• Proven ability to listen to and advise students confidentially and effectively.
• Enhanced DBS check required (must be registered with the Online Update Service).
