Description

Data & Compliance Officer  

Location: Home based with travel to delivery location in Hammersmith & Fulham and across the wider West London region once every 2-3 weeks

This is a part-time, 15 month fixed term contract . (22.2 hours per week)

The Development Coach The role holder will provide wraparound support for learners on skills-based learning programmes supporting individuals throughout the learner journey. The role holder will work with learners and employers, identifying engagement and placement opportunities with employers to ensure learner achievement on the Skills Bootcamp

The post holder will be expected to liaise and maintain effective working relationships with a range of other agencies, businesses and employers. The post may involve working in more than one location and there will be travel involved. It may be necessary on occasion for the post holder to work outside of standard office hours.
 

This role will cover a specific contract area (West London) therefore some travel will be required.



Requirements

Person Specification:
Knowledge
Essential:
Educated to minimum GCSE Grade C / Level 2 or equivalent in Maths and
English
An understanding of and commitment to confidentiality and data security
Demonstrable knowledge of Individual Learning Records (ILR), GDPR and DfE
requirements relating to learner data
Desirable:
Level 4 qualification in administration / business / finance or equivalent and
relevant experience that demonstrates a high level of literacy, numeracy
and analytical skills
An understanding of the skills agenda
Experience
Essential:
Working within a busy team, building and maintaining effective
relationships
Compliance checking, accuracy checking and auditing of data processes
Desirable:
Experience of having led compliance and data returns on education
programmes
Experience of using the ILR
Experience of working within the careers advice, employability or learning
and skills sectors
Skills
Essential:
Effective communication skills including written and verbal and can relate
to a wide range of people and organisations
Work collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to include time
management of own work
Ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets and implement contingency
plans where necessary
Excellent IT skills including all Microsoft Office software
Apply a flexible approach to work activities including travel as required to
meet business objectives
Display an open mind and positive attitude to work and colleague
