Company Profile

Form the Future CIC

Company Overview

Here at Form the Future we help young people move successfully from education into employment, providing the talent our region’s companies need. We want to equip young people with the experience and skills they will need to succeed in their career of choice, and enable businesses to recruit skilled workers locally. We bridge the gap between these two worlds and help them work together and achieve more.

We deliver the skills service for the Greater Cambridge Partnership, linking schools and businesses to build students’ careers awareness and employability skills and to promote apprenticeships. We also provide a mentoring programme, an impartial careers advice service, support work experience placements, and manage STEM outreach programmes, such as Cambridge LaunchPad.

In our staff we have qualified Careers Development Professionals who regularly visit schools and provide 1:1 careers advice to students to provide the support and guidance they need to make an informed decision about the industry and role they would like to move into. We also have our Programme Delivery team who are often out and about putting on events in schools or working closely with our business partners to put on industry focused events for young people to attend to find out more about the world of possibilities that awaits them.

Like any other company we also have our internal operations team and support functions including the administration team, marketing, business development, finance and HR.
